The USC Faculty of Philosophy has been teaching a doctoral program for more than two decades which, although its name has changed slightly (Current Issues in Philosophy, Philosophy, Philosophy: Current Issues), has as its fundamental objectives to train students to research and train students in the various burning issues of contemporary philosophy.
