Introduction
PRESENTATION
Advanced training in theoretical and applied Mathematics with an emphasis on Algebra and Logic (logic, non-standard analysis, algebra, number theory, cryptography), Analysis (differential equations, calculus of variations and optimal control, optimization, dynamic systems, numerical applications) and Statistics (statistics, operational research, probabilities). Within the scope of the thesis, a deep study of a part of mathematics and/or its applications is required in order to overcome the frontier of mathematical knowledge by solving open-ended problems and/or by starting a new theory. Targeted skills: formulating theorems and new mathematical concepts and/or mathematically modeling in one of the various application contexts, in-depth knowledge and assimilation of parts of advanced mathematical theory, knowing how to successfully use computer media, interpreting and transmitting mathematical results from scientific texts, presenting results own research, write scientific articles publishable in prestigious scientific journals.
