PRESENTATION

The PhD in Architecture opens up a space for high-level advanced training and research, aimed not only at those in academia, but also at those who exercise professional practice, for whom this course presents the possibility of deepening knowledge and developing skills in the area of Architecture . It integrates the practical work of the project in architecture as a form of advanced research, positioning it in the context of scientific research. The aim is to develop the course in an international environment, in order to ensure the positioning of students in global competitive environments and endow them with skills comparable to the international academic level; to provide transdisciplinary knowledge on conceptual, formal and practical issues with application in research, critical thinking, planning and carrying out works within the framework of the landscape, in a comprehensive way, as well as issues of the nature of the built heritage (monumental , industrial, civil) in a more specific way.
