Introduction
What does this PhD consist of?
Adapted to the regulations included in RD 99/2011, it trains students to begin a professional career as a researcher in universities, technology centres and private or public research centres. The programme arises within the framework of the Aristos Campus Mundus 2015 International Campus of Excellence, an initiative that is the result of the strategic aggregation of three social initiative universities (the University of Deusto, the Pontifical University of Comillas and the Universitat Ramon Llull) and which also arises from an advanced strategic cooperation agreement with Georgetown University, Boston College and Fordham University.
We need research to find and develop the solutions our world needs.
The programme, taught in English, allows for an in-depth look at the different factors that affect the competitiveness and sustainability of companies and territories, in order to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals. In particular, special emphasis is placed on innovation as a critical factor in competitiveness and on sustainability as a key element to be preserved in order to guarantee the well-being of future generations. With these thematic axes, the programme provides solid and rigorous training in research methodology to enable researchers to generate solutions for the Sustainable Development Goals. You can take this programme with the International Mention or under the Industrial Doctorate modality. Possibility of predoctoral contracts.
