The Executive PhD of the University of Paris-Dauphine is a doctoral program, based on the concept of "engaged research", which is aimed at working professionals, in order to give them all the necessary resources to theorize their practice and produce high-level academic research.

The Executive PhD of the University of Paris-Dauphine aims to foster communication between two often distant worlds, that of management research and that of business, for the benefit of both spheres.

Why Dauphine?

The University of Paris-Dauphine was one of the first universities in Europe to offer an Executive PhD, as early as 2008, and the first in France. Today, this program is a growing success, with an average of 16 participants per year, of which 30% to more than half are international. The Executive PhD is rich in the exchange of experience that this international opening provides.

Language

The class is made up of two groups, one for which the lessons are given in English, the other for which all lessons are given in French. Some elective seminars can be delivered in one language only.

Most of the teaching materials are in English, which implies a minimal command of English when reading.
