Accurate technical drawings are an important part of any creative project. Students interested in a career in technical drawing benefit from courses which increase their artistic ability through practical drawing classes. The PhD is a doctoral degree, specifically called a "doctor of philosophy" degree. This is misleading because PhD holders are not necessarily philosophers (unless they earned their degree in philosophy!).
