The Doctorate in Educational Research offers three lines of knowledge generation and application (LAGC):

Within the framework of these lines of research, PhD students develop original research projects, which represent contributions to the advancement of knowledge and / or understanding of relevant educational problems. The above, based on an advanced and critical understanding of the genesis, structure and problems involved in the development of the national educational system, as well as the educational policies of Mexico in itself and in the international context.... The Public Universities of the Center-West Region of ANUIES, agreed to promote the creation of the Interinstitutional Doctorate in Psychology, a quality program whose main purpose is to meet the specific needs of the region, through the training of researchers of the highest level in a framework of flexibility, following the policies of the National Association of Universities and Institutions of Higher Education (ANUIES) and complying with the quality indicators indicated by the National Council of Science and Technology (Conacyt) through the National Program of Postgraduate Quality (PNPC).

The DIP is an inter-institutional postgraduate program that has the advantage of combining the human and material resources that each of the Institutions possess separately, to integrate a teachers' plant that has all the material resources, sufficient infrastructure and equipment, for the full development of training and research activities at the regional level, thus constituting an alternative for training high-level personnel, optimizing available material and human resources.... The Interinstitutional Doctorate in Art and Culture (DIAC) is the result of the conjunction of academic efforts of the Public Universities of the Western Center Region of ANUIES in which universities participate: Autónoma de Aguascalientes; from Guadalajara; of Guanajuato and the Michoacana of San Nicolás de Hidalgo. It has been created for the training of duly trained specialists in the analysis, research and diffusion of culture and art, from the local and regional spheres of Mexico to the adequate and necessary reflection on these issues in a global dimension. Although Latin American culture and art are proposed as a fundamental object of study, the nexuses that this geographical area has with other cultural systems are not excluded in any way.... [-]

The Center for Social Sciences and Humanities presents the syllabus of the Doctorate in Sociocultural Studies (previous denomination, Doctorate in Social Sciences and Humanities), with a focus on the training of researchers, to offer a quality postgraduate, transdisciplinary and flexible option. This curriculum derives not only from the needs detected in society, but also takes into account the lines of research currently carried out by the Academic Bodies at our Center.

The student will have a thesis tutor named from the first semester who will ensure a personalized attention that will guide him to organize, plan and develop his protocol, besides giving him the possibility to develop his skills and generate his own needs to face the problematic of its line of research and that will develop in the course of the thesis workshops. The student, together with his tutor, will be able to select optional subjects from the set of subjects that each line of the program offers to complement his training in the chosen line. The tutor may also recommend the mobility and conduct of research stays at the national level and of international preference for curricular courses and research activities that contribute to the quality of research conducted by the student. The Doctoral Degree in Anthropic Sciences, is an interdepartmental and multidisciplinary program offered by the Center for Design and Construction Sciences, the Departments of Construction and Structures, Habitat Design, Geotechnics and Hydraulics, as well as Theory and Methods . This postgraduate course offers greater flexibility as a tutoring system, which strengthens research activities.

To train high level researchers from the humanist perspective with a strong social commitment and an active concern about the environment, focusing the researcher on the problems of the anthropic areas of specific regional contexts in a systemic and critical way in order to contribute to their sustainable development.... The Doctorate in Biological Sciences is a postgraduate program recognized by its HIGH QUALITY in the level of Consolidation granted by CONACYT in the National Program of Postgraduate Quality (PNPC).

The program offers two modalities: the Direct from Degree with a duration of 48 months (4 years) and the Traditional from Masters of 36 months (3 years). The postgraduate is oriented to the investigation, reason why its graduates achieve a formation in investigation with the capacities to realize original and innovative research and to be considered like valuable individuals by its employers. Graduates are distinguished by their social commitment, responsible for their learning, social needs, contributing to the development of the country, persevering to achieve the goals proposed, and tolerance for when there are discrepancies.... The Doctorate in Administrative Sciences offers ample possibilities for those who want a program that suits their needs. The student develops and trains in an intense and independent way in the elaboration of his doctoral thesis, seeking that his idea breaks with established schemes and designs solutions that benefit the organizations and the society.

The student fulfills his / her qualification requirements taking advantage of the basic subjects offered, such as research methodology, quantitative and qualitative methods, validation of scales, among others. Also, the student participates semiannually in seminars and in complementary activities, like, optional subjects, participation in congresses, publications and national and international stays. In fact, recently the signing of a "double degree" agreement with the Universidad Politécnica del Cartagena has been achieved, which gives the doctoral student important benefits and acknowledgments at an international level....
