Part time PhD Programs in Law

Law is a broad field that encompasses the system of rules set by a society to regulate behavior along with the enforcement of those rules. Law students study all of a society’s rules, but usually specialize their law practice upon graduation into a particular area like civil or criminal law.

The tiny island of Curacao offers a surprisingly high level of lingual and cultural diversity. The educational programs are strongly influenced by the Dutch and the Americans. Students may enjoy participating in medical programs, language programs, and the fine arts, including access to influential novelists and poets.

The PhD is a doctoral degree, specifically called a "doctor of philosophy" degree. That said, PhD recipients are able to engage in thought experiments, reason about problems, and solve problems in sophisticated ways.

Part-time learning allows one to obtain a degree or qualification even if one cannot attend school on a full-time basis. One can learn at one's own pace, gradually accumulating credits that count towards a final qualification.
