In the first semester of the first year, the student takes three compulsory subjects and two elective pedagogical subjects, which represent the basis of the doctoral study in the field of engineering in education. In the second semester of the first year, the student upgrades knowledge with two elective subjects in the technical field and one elective course in the pedagogical didactic field. At the same time, he/she begins his/her individual research work on relevant issues in the field of education in engineering. In two semesters, the student completes 1800 hours of organized and individual forms of study and research work and collects 60 ECTS credits.
In the winter semester of the second year, students take optional elective courses from postgraduate study programs of domestic or foreign faculties or universities (one course in technical direction and one course in pedagogy). The student may also select the subjects from the elective subjects of the proposed study program if he/she did not select them previously.
